Here’s The Answer To The “Why?”

Well…Trump did it. He won the election. And now we see all over social media the “how?” and “why?” from supporters of Hillary Clinton. People are protesting the results, in disbelief that their candidate didn’t pull through. They are wanting a redo, this was not the results they were hoping for, they aren’t feeling very secure in their “safe spaces” anymore. Some are so despondent that they’ve asked to be excused from college midterms. How has all of this happened? Let me try to explain.

The majority of the American people have had it. We are tired of hearing the same rhetoric from politicians over and over again. Especially from the politicians that we know to be untruthful and conniving, in bed with the major bankers, and after being in politics for longer than this millennial has been alive, don’t know what classified means on government documents. Americans are fed up with hearing name calling and insults from seasoned politicians when there should be discussion of issues. They want real change, not the same promises we’ve been hearing for years. Solutions instead of propaganda for votes.

A majority of those who voted for Trump are not hateful, nor are they xenophobic, anti-female, uneducated chumps. They want a prosperous America for their children and grandchildren. They want unity instead of division. They want public servants who will defend the Constitution, not undermine it at every turn. They were tired of being labeled and called every name in the book. They were tired of being told to be tolerant while being shown intolerance, and they spoke out at the ballot box.

This is the answer to the “why?”.

There is No Difference Anymore

The general election is one day away. Tomorrow we will see who will be moving into the White House in 2017. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is wondering what sort of mass chaos, if any, awaits the aftermath of November 8th. I don’t rightly know if the American people will truly be winners either way. I do know that the American people won’t be the winners if we continue to let our employees (because that’s what the President and Congress are) run rough shod over us and continue to shred the Constitution and Bill of Rights with every bit of their elected strength.

It used to be a Republican vs Democrat playing field. The Republicans used to be “the Champions for the Constitution” against the governmental overreach paraded by the Democrats. Now it’s hard to tell which is which, except for the R or D in front of their names on the ballot. For quite a while I’ve given up on voting for party only because of that very reason. The Republicans have a party platform, the state of Oklahoma’s platform being very Conservative, except no one wants to stay in line with it. Least of all those currently holding office.

If there is no chance of making a Constitutional difference on the national level, we have got to start making that difference at the state level. We have got to start holding the people running for office to a higher standard. On issues, we have got to be asking the question, “Is it Constitutional?”. And if it’s not, we need to rethink our support. Do we want to get back to the Constitution, or do we want to see it destroyed? Do we want the Forefather’s  fight for liberty to be in vain? I truly hope not.

We have got to make a stand. It will not be fun or pretty. It will be a fight. But the country that the Founding Father’s dreamed of is worth it. Liberty and freedom are worth it.

SQ777 Right To Farm Or Harm? — A Rancher’s Perspective

This is a very good article on OK SQ777, written by my brother, Kenny Bob Tapp.

I believe Oklahoma State Question 777 is being supported by mostly well intentioned people.
At first it sounded great to this Oklahoma Rancher, until I actually took the time to read the language. Not only was it too vaguely written, but I also started to see the red flags.

This is the language that will be amended to the State Constitution if this passes on November 8th.

Political Stress

I’m sure everyone is feeling it. The General/Presidential election is right around the corner, in 17 days, to be exact. We’re all wondering what awaits the future of our country based on what the outcome of this election will be. What will we be facing with a Trump or a Clinton presidency? After all, one of them will be among some of the most powerful leaders in the world, right? Where will they be taking us? Into greater liberty and freedom, where the Constitution is indeed revered and considered the law of the land, or more and more into an authoritarian, unconstitutional existence?  I wish I could see into the future and answer those questions. But one thing I believe we fail to realize is this, the election/selection of one person is not what we should be fearing or counting on. No one person is going to make or break us…without the people’s consent. Yes, I said it. Why? Because of Congress. You may ask why I bring up Congress right now. Good question. Let’s dig a little.

Congress is supposed to be the voice of the people. We elect a few individuals from our respective states to hold the President accountable. They have the authority to tell the President “no”. Of course, we’re in all of our messes as a country because Congress hasn’t had the courage or initiative to do that. They go along to get along, voting left and right to do away with liberty and the Constitution, allowing the President free reign for nearly every whim. And that, sadly, is the people’s fault. We have sat by and let them vote us out of a Constitutional Republic FOR DECADES. Many people doing so without so much as a sneeze. Why? Because we have been fed the lie that they are the leaders.

They aren’t. They are our employees. What happens when an employer discovers that an employee has lied, cheated, and stolen? They fire said employee and hire someone more trustworthy. What have we done as employers? We have kept the employees that have proven themselves over and over again how dishonest and untrustworthy they really are. We fail to look at the candidates running to be public servants through Constitutional eyes. We believe the lies being thrown our way and vote because they’re the “Republican”, “Democrat” or “Libertarian”. We the People are the ones who sold out our freedom to those who offer us “sparkly things” and a great line once in a while. We have let our employees take over and now we are reaping what we’ve sowed. We have traded in our freedom for chains, and we did so without hardly a whimper.

This election may be the final straw, then again, it might not be. Who knows? But we have already fractured the Constitutional system. The sad part in all of this? We did it to ourselves. We sold ourselves into this slavery.

Why I Believe in Informed Consent For Parents/Guardians

Before anyone starts throwing out the term “anti-vaxxer” and then turning on their bias, here me out.  This isn’t about an “all vaccines are bad” point of view.  This is about learning and studying what ingredients are used in current vaccines and what types of vaccines are used at a certain stage in your child’s and/or your life, and making an informed decision on whether or not some, all, or none of the vaccines are right for you and your family.  This is not judging you for deciding to vaccinate or for deciding that it isn’t right for you.  Simply put, informed consent is just that, being informed about ingredients, side effects (short or long term), and giving or not giving consent for certain medical practices.

I was vaccinated when I was a child.  Obviously, it did not result in my death, and I’m a fairly healthy human being in spite of it.  What a lot of people that know me personally didn’t realize (until recently, thanks to my posts on Facebook…) was that, yes, I had side effects from those vaccinations.  Nothing life-threatening or totally life-changing, and here I count myself and my parents extremely blessed, as I know of many families that cannot say the same thing.

The side effects that landed on me were mild in comparison to others.  I had never before had a food allergy or an allergy that manifested through my skin.  After I had received the vaccinations that the doctor informed my parents were necessary at that certain stage in my life, I was suddenly, out of the blue, allergic to eggs and products that eggs were found within.  Consuming such products would result in severe cases of eczema on my face, back, arms and legs.  For those who have or have had this in the past, you know it’s a very unpleasant condition, especially for a little kid.  Half of the foods I loved I couldn’t have.  Fast-forward 20 some odd years, what used to be a severe allergy is now just a sensitivity, meaning I can partake of said product, but I still have to be careful on amount and frequency of ingestion.

Another allergy I received was to an ingredient in the vaccines called Propylene Glycol.  This ingredient can be found in a lot of daily use items, from certain flavors of cake mix and food products, to many kinds/brands of shampoos, conditioners, face care products and lotions.  I spend a lot of time looking at the ingredient labels on products in the store because of this.  It’s not just under the name of Propylene Glycol.  Anything that has “Propyl” in the description is related, and is thus that much harder to find products to use that are moderately inexpensive and will not result in a bad eczema breakout all over my body.  It’s much more irritating to deal with now as an adult than it was for me as a child.

As stated before, I just had a mild case of the side effects.  There are many more families that wish this was all that they had to have dealt with.  I just used myself as an example.  Because of my earlier food allergy, I cannot receive most of the vaccines on the market because of the use of chick embryonic fluid and the propylene in the ingredients.  For many people making the decision on whether or not they will choose to vaccinate, they don’t know if their children have certain allergies or sensitivities.  Several vaccines are given before a child reaches the age of a year old, unless you have them on a delayed schedule.

This isn’t written to scare you.  This is written because my parents didn’t know what informed consent was.  When you go to the doctor and they are wanting you to vaccinate, just ask them for the vaccine insert.  Not the print-out, the full insert.  Yes, it’s a long read, but at least you will be able to make an informed decision on what you will be allowing into your child’s system.

What is Patriotism and Disrespect of Country?

This might turn a little controversial.  That’s really not the intent, but this subject has been in the social networking limelight, so to speak, for the last few days and my brain has been running this through processing since it hit.

A football player in the NFL has refused to stand up for the National Anthem before a game, which has led to another doing so, and then the rumor that a whole team has said they will not stand, either.  I’m sure this has raised the ire of every red-blooded American that feels this is the greatest form of disrespect to our country, and to the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces.  At first, I was also affronted that this form of disrespect was being taken.  I mean, how dare they do such a thing?  Then I got to thinking…Yes, this is a form of disrespect.  I don’t believe they are right, but it is their right to decide whether or not they take this action, or inaction, however you want to view it.  But, by our own actions or inactions, how many of us could be accused of the same degree of or greater disrespect to our country?  Bear with me as I try to put my thoughts into words.

How many of us sit by and do little to nothing when our elected Representatives hack away at the Constitution?  We haven’t gotten in the predicament we’re in as a country by standing up for our rights, but by the lack thereof.  We exhibit “coffee house” politics and opinions but when it comes down to the line, we feel it’s better to let someone else do something about it.  In short, our apathy towards protecting our inalienable rights has gotten us to where we are today.  We have stood by while the puppet masters have called the shots on the way we go, maybe offering up a little squeak now and then, but mostly thinking that by voting for “this guy”, we’ve done our part and let’s wait and see what happens.  We can now sit back, say the Pledge, sing the Anthem and feel very patriotic about ourselves.  No. No, no, no…this is the problem.  This is not patriotism.  This is a feel-good mentality and it is killing us.

You see, we have failed to see the big picture. Instead, we content ourselves to look at just a portion.  We have the feel good moments when we vote for “our guy”, thinking we’ve done our part.  Liberty is much harder to fight for than that.  Take a look around.  We are permitting the murder of the most innocent among us, unborn children, and we don’t say much. We are constantly in an entanglement of some kind with this country or that one, when in fact, we shouldn’t even be there.  We have allowed the control of our monetary system by an outside force (there is nothing “Federal” about the Federal Reserve), something the Founders were adamantly against.  There is no free market anymore.  If you doubt that, try and set up a Farmer’s Market and see how much red tape you have to go through.  We don’t have a Second Amendment anymore.  If you don’t believe me on this one, just try carrying a weapon without a PERMIT, which is a permission slip from government.  What happened to the “shall not be infringed” part?  Freedom of Speech?  Did you know that in this “free” country, you can now have charges brought against you and be prosecuted for “thought crimes”?  It’s happening right now in Oregon.  All of this is just scraping the tip of the iceberg.  There is so much more that could be added to the list.  And we, through our apathy, have allowed this to happen.

Not standing up for the National Anthem is disrespect, yes.  But, in my opinion at least, we have demonstrated the greater disrespect.  We have allowed ourselves to lose the liberty that our Founding Fathers fought so hard to establish.  Shame on us.

Torah

Exodus 30:11-chapter 34:35

Haftarah

1 Kings 18:1-39

Exodus 31:16-18

The Sabbath is a sign forever between Yahweh and Yisrael. If we, as believers, have been grafted into Yisrael through Yeshua, this applies to the here and now. These Laws (Torah) was not written by men, for it says in verse 18, “And when He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of stone, WRITTEN WITH THE FINGER OF ELOHIM.”

Yahweh Himself wrote these down for His people to pay heed to and obey. These were not Mosheh’s words, these came from and were written down by the Almighty Elohim. Period. Again in chapter 34:28 it reiterates by mentioning the second set of tablets (the first being thrown down and broken by Mosheh (Moses) in his displeasure at what the people were doing in worshipping the golden calf), where He (Yahweh) wrote on the tablets the Words of the Covenant, The Ten Commandments.

In 1 Kings 18:21, a good question was asked and a clear statement was made when Eliyahu (Elijah) came to the people during Ahab’s reign as king of Israel. “How long would you keep hopping between two opinions? If Yahweh is Elohim, follow Him; and if Ba’al, follow him.” The people didn’t answer. So what’s it going to be? Who is Elohim (God)? Do our words say one thing while our actions say another?

It’s time for us to make a choice. Who are we going to follow? Will it be Elohim? Are we truly ready to surrender our hearts to His will, follow His Commandments no matter what others will say about us? As it says in Joshua 24:15, “And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve Yahweh, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve Yahweh.”

There is a battle for the hearts of men today, whether they choose to obey Yahweh or choose to follow the world and “do their own thing”. The choice is yours. Everyone was created with a free will. As for me, I choose to serve Yahweh.

My thoughts on Hebrews chapter 8:

It’s not so much saying that the Covenant is fading away as much as what all the old Covenant had involved in it, i/e annual blood sacrifices, the Tent of Meeting and the Temple.

There is only one sacrifice needed now, the death of the Messiah for the sins of the world, and our hearts prepared as a temple for Yahweh.

If you read chapters 7 & 9 along with chapter 8 of Hebrews, I think it explains this quite thoroughly.  It lays it out to where almost anyone can understand it.

It’s Not About That, Really…

Hey all,

There’s a big debate going on practically everywhere, especially now that the U.S. Supreme Court is hearing the issue on Proposition 8, which was passed in California. It basically states that marriage is between one man & one woman, not for same-sex relationships.

Everyone has an opinion about this issue, whether they be for or against legalizing same-sex marriage. What about this? What if it’s not truly about this issue, but the fact that it’s not for the Government to even have a say about it? Hear me out. They’re waving a flag of distraction in front of us, trying to keep us at everyone’s throats so we miss the big picture.

It’s never been about gay/lesbian rights or traditional marriage.

It’s always been about what the Government can get away with, control-wise. “Let’s see if they’ll give us control over areas where Constitutionally, we can’t even step a foot.” Please tell me you’re not surprised. When you find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, what do you do? You get all of the arrangements ready for a wedding and then you go down to the local courthouse and apply for a marriage license. You are asking permission from the Government to marry the person of your choice. Is marriage like driving, a priviledge? I think not! It is a right that the Government cannot, should not touch.

But we have let them in, telling them we are willing to become mindless slaves and not just in this area of our lives. We don’t want to think for ourselves anymore. What has happened to us since that glorious speech of Patrick Henry’s that ended with “Give me liberty or give me death!”? We have become too comfortable with our “easy” lives and too involved in fighting our neighbors as if we were children on the playground. Enough! This is not our fight. Our fight is with those who want to strip us naked of the very freedoms our parents & grandparents fought so hard for! Will we let it happen?

I’d like to think that I tried my best for freedom. Patrick Henry did. What about you?

Senator to ‘gay’ lawmakers: ‘Homosexuality is a sin’

Activists blast state legislator for citing Scripture against same-sex unions

Colorado

State Sen. Scott Renfroe

When Colorado’s Legislature considered granting benefits to same-sex partners, one lawmaker took a stand, calling homosexuality an “abomination” and a sin the government should not condone – and now “gay” activists have countered with a full-fledged attack.

Sen. Scott Renfroe, R-Greeley, stood before the state Senate Feb. 23 just before it passed SB 88, a bill granting insurance benefits to homosexual partners of state employees. He read scripture to lawmakers – including the bill’s openly “gay” sponsors, Democrats Sen. Jennifer Veiga and Rep. Mark Ferrandino.

“I oppose this bill because of what my personal beliefs are,” Renfroe said. “I think that what our country was founded upon was those beliefs also.”

He told the Senate God created woman as a helper for man and commanded his children to “be fruitful and multiply.”

“I think that goes back to this whole picture of family that God created us for, and we need to honor that,” he said firmly. “Homosexuality is seen as a violation of this natural created order.”

Renfroe began reading the book of Leviticus to the Senate.

“Ye shall not lie with a man as one lies with a female. It is an abomination,” he read. “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act, and they shall surely be put to death. Their blood guiltness is upon them.”

Then he continued with Romans 8:13: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.”

“That’s what we’re doing here,” Renfroe said. “We are suppressing the truth. The truth is what the family was created for in the beginning – that is a husband, a wife and children. That is why we are here, and this [bill] goes against that.”

Renfroe acknowledge that the Bible condemns many sins, and he said the state should not seek to legalize those behaviors.

“Obviously we have sin — we have murder, we have all sorts of sin, we have adultery, and we don’t make laws making those legal, and we would never think to make murder legal,” he said. “I stand in my belief that this is wrong, and we should not condone it as a government.”

One of the bill’s homosexual sponsors, Sen. Jennifer Veiga, immediately fired back.

“You say, up here at this microphone, that God created us in a certain structure,” she said. “I will stand here today and tell you that God also created me. And the last time I checked, I am who I am, people.”

Other Republicans also opposed the bill, claiming it was a method of circumventing the voters’ 2006 decision to keep marriage between a man and a woman. Critics argue that Colorado cannot afford to pay $116,000 annually for the added benefits when the Legislature may be facing a $1 billion deficit next year.

Nonetheless, the Senate passed the bill on a voice vote and gave it final approval the following day by a margin of 22-12.

But the debate didn’t stop there.

Homosexual groups have launched an attack on Sen. Renfroe for opposing the bill and reading scripture aloud. Joe Solmonese, president of the Human Rights Campaign, issued a statement blasting Renfroe, saying “he compared homosexuality with murder.”

“These outrageously offensive comments warrant condemnation by all fair-minded people and should be ignored by the Colorado legislature as they move forward in passing overdue protections to state workers,” Solmonese said. “Senator Renfroe shows his own intolerance, but we remain hopeful that his fair-minded colleagues will press ahead and protect hard-working Coloradoans.”

According to the Rocky Mountain News blog, some unidentified GOP lawmakers “have privately expressed dismay over Renfroe’s comments” as well.

Activist group ProgressNow Colorado launched an e-mail campaign to “Tell Scott Renfroe what you think.”

“[R]egardless of how people like James Dobson and Scott Renfroe feel about gay people, their shameless hate-mongering has no place in public debate and we should reject them completely,” the website states.

The organization also started a Facebook group called “Reject Renfroe” shortly after the speech became public.

The group now has 176 members who have posted comments including the following:

  • Unfortunately if trash comes out of the mouths of politicians and/or preachers they seem to be protected from the law even though they are inciting terrorism, violence, etc.
  • On what planet and in what century do you think you are operating? There is no room in this state, this country, and this time in the history of humankind for such hatred and disrespect to exist, much less to be expressed by a “statesman” such as yourself. … Your statements are disgusting and wrong, and it’s shameful that you attribute such attitudes to the God that created us ALL – straight, gay, bisexual, transgender,& ?ing alike – in His image. For shame.
  • If you are such a higher form of being than the rest of us, I would hope that you choose to resign from representing those of us who are “mere mortals.”
